These are the people that the Prophet Muhammad SAW calling out to foe just over twenty years, challenging and rebuking them, and not sparing a single moment to invite them to the religion of Allah SWT.

Their words worked a type of magic that was permissible, and they could arrange a sequence of adjectives more beautiful than a string of pearls. The Arabs used language to trick intelligent people, to overcome difficulties to heal or reignite long standing feuds; to make cowards brave to open the hands of the tight fisted and to render the imperfect, and the one who was once nimble and intelligent as lazy and sluggish.

From the Arabs, the Bedouins in particular were known for concise and refines speech, a majestic command of the language, as well as strong,  outgoing personality and a pure, disarming nature. On the other the people from the cities were known for their skillful rhetoric, decisive discourse, and a concise and comprehensive speech, alongside as easygoing manner and ability to express beauty and kindness in a few gentle words. 

Both group possessed an eloquence of profound language, never failing to find the precise phrase to win any argument and open any path, like a piercing dart. They never doubted themselves and were exact in their choice of words. As true masters of Arabic, they took ownership of their speech and had discovered the springs of knowledge. They had studied the science from every possible angle and used their proficiency to construct literary masterpieces, like lofty towers of gold, reaching towards the sky. They spoke on all matters, both the great and the menial, the weighty and the insignificant. Either sparing or verbose depending on the conservation, he Arabs were equally confident in poetry and prose.

No one could have amazed these people except a noble messenger with a mighty book: 

      " It cannot be proven false from any angle. It is a revelation from the one who is All - wise praiseworthy."

These are the people that are the prophet Muhammad SAW was calling out to for just over Twenty years, challenging and rebuking them, and not sparing a single moment to invite them to the religion of Allah.

     " Or do they claim He made it up? Tell them O Prophet Muhammad SAW, Produce own surah like it then, and seek help from whoever you can- other than Allah SWT - if what you say is true.!"

 " Allah paak if you are in doubt about what we have revealed to our servant, then produce a surah like it and call your helpers other than Allah SWT If what you say is true. But if you are unable to do so- and you will never be able to do so- then fear the fire fueled with people and stones, which is people and stones which. Is prepared for the disbelievers."

 " Say , O Prophet Muhammad SAW, if all humans and jinn were to come together to produce the equivalent of this Quran Kareem, they could not produce uta equal, no matter how they supported each other."

    " Say, O Prophet Muhammad SAW, Produce ten fabricated surahs like it and seen help from whoever you can other than Allah- if what you say is true".

The Prophet Muhammad SAW continued to chastise the Arabs with robust condemnation, and reprimand them in the strongest possible terms. He should undermine there claims to knowledge and humble their leaders. The social order that has become entrenched Wala thoroughly shattered. He devalued their false idols and denounced the corrupt ways of their ancestors. Their land, property and wealth were confiscated. Despite all this, they were reluctant to respond to the challenge posed in the Quran Kareem and continued to be unable to produce anything like it. Instead, they relied in stirring trouble amongst their own ranks through self - delusion, false rumors, and incitement, they would like to know Another about the Quran Kareem, saying:

         " This Quran Kareem is nothing but magic from the ancients".

               " Some old magic "

      " A fabrication which he made up with the help of others."

                    " Ancient fables"

They would make shocking, flaw statements, and had no interest in matters pertaining to be hereafter, with excuses including."

           " Our hearts are unreceptive "

And instructing their followers:

      " Do nit listen to this Quran Kareem but frown it out si that you may prevail."

But Allah SWT informed them:

       " You will never be able to do so."

Of course, they were never able to do so. For any foolish person that tried, like Musaulamah the liar, Allah SWT would expose their shortcomings for all to see and strip them of their pomp; the delicate speech they use to mislead others. Otherwise, the intelligent people amongst them may not have realized that the Quran Kareem was nothing like the eloquence or rhetoric of men. Instead, the ones who heard the Quran Kareem were in awe, either guides by its message or at least captivates by it beauty.

Al Wild ibn Al mughirah hears the Prophet Muhammad SAW reciting: 

    " Indeed, Allah SWT commands justice grace as well as courtesy to close relatives. He forbids indecency, wickedness and aggression. He instruct you so perhaps you will be mindful."

He respected: " I swear  hy Allah's SWT , This Quran Kareem has a sweetness to it.... No human could have come up with this!" 

On a sperate occasion, another Bedouin heard someone reciting:

 " When they lost all hope in him, they spoke privately:

He responded: " I bear witness that no- one would be able to produce this type of speech."

Is is said that one day, Umar ibn al-Khattab was sleeping in the mosque, when suddenly he found someone standing next to his head, testifying to the truth. He questioned him,  and the man is informed Umar that he was one of the Byzantine generals, and that he was well verses in Arabic and other languages. He also said that he had heard of the Muslim prisoner of war reciting verses from the Quran Kareem.

   " Upon reflection, the man added, " I realized that this book contained the same description of this life and the hereafter as that which. Was revealed to " isa ibn Maryam" . He was referring to the words of Allah SWT exalted:

   " For whoever obey Allah SWT and his Messenger and fears Allah SWT and is mindful of him, then it is they who will truly triumph."

It was revealed from and Al maikl ibn Qurayb Al Asmai that he once heard a slave girl speaking, ao he said to her: incredible! Where did you learn such eloquent speech?"

She replied: " how can we describe my wors as eloquence, after hearing the words  of Allah when he said :

" We inspired the mother of Moses: Nurse him, but when you fear for him, put him then it into the river, and do not grieves. We will certainly return him to you, and make him one of the Messengers."

" In a single verse, he has combines two commands, two prohibitions, two pieces of information and two pieces of good news!"

This aspect of the Miraculous nature of the Quran Kareem is unique to it, and us built on two pieces of evidence. The fact that the Quran Kareem was communicated To us by the Prophet Muhammad SAW as well known and undisputed. Similarly, it is well known that the Prophet Muhammad SAW presented Quran Kareem as a challenge, and that the Arabs were unable to imitate it. No one denies either that the eloquence of the Quran Kareem was beyond the scope of the linguistics and literary habits of the time; this was attested to by the arabs, the very people who knew the language best. As for those not so well versed in the field, their way of finding out about the Miraculous nature of the Quran Kareem was by the confirmation of those who had mastered the Arabic language, and their incapability to bring anything like it 

Alternatively, one could simply ponder the meaning of the words of Allah SWT exalted:

 

   " If I my you could see then they will be horrified with. Ni escape on judgement day! And they will be seized from a nearby place."

  "Respond to evil with what is best, then the one you are in a feud with will be like a close friend".

There are many verses like these. In fact, the majority of the Quran Kareem could be mentioned above. We have detailed the conciseness of the Quran's language, the many layers of meaning, the clarity of expression, and the perfection of it's lexicon. Every word in the Quran Kareem could full volumes of contemplation and behind every phrase lies an ocean of meaning. Despite a proliferation of texts, just some of the benefits to be taken and deductions to br made from this Mighty book have been investigated.

2. The style and coherence of the Quran Kareem:

The second of aspect of the Miraculous nature of the Quran Kareem is it's perfect order and harmonious coherence, the literary style of the Quran Kareem was completely unique, ana Did not resemble anything the Arabs had authored. It was completely poetry or prose. In the Quran Kareem, the division of the verses cause the recite to pause, whilst the meaning of the words continue in the next. Nothing like this has been seen before, or would be seen after, and no one was able to exhausted their intellectual capabilities trying to comprehend what they had heard, but we're left bewildered. No one was inspired to write something like it from any of the literary genres at their disposal neither prose, rhyme nor any type of poetry could come to their rescue.

When al- Walid ibn al- Mughirah heard the Prophet Muhammad SAW reciting the Quran Kareem, his heart began to soften . Upon hearing this, Abu Jahl arrived to remonstrate. Al- Walid stood his ground, declaring: " I swear by Allah SWT, what he just recited does not resemble any type of poetry."

In another report from Al- Walid ibn al- Mughirah he mention one of the seasonal gatherings of the Quraish, when he said: " The delegations of the Arabs are due to arrive shortly. 

They responded: " Let us say that he is fortune teller."

Al- Walid replied: " I swear by Allah SWT , he us not a fortune teller. Neither is he a person who mutters under his breath or recites poetry."

They said: " In that case, let us say that he u insane."

Al- Walid replied: " He is not insane, neither is the possessed by a Jin or listening to their whispers".

They said: in they case , let us say he is a poet." 

Al- Walid replied: " He is not a port. We are already well- verses in all the genres and meters of poetry and this man is not a poet".

So they said: " let ya say that he is magician.".

Al Walid replied: " He is not a magician he does not follow their practices of tying knots and blowing on them."

Finally, the people asked: " that shall we sat then?..

Al- Walid replied: Every single claim you have made, I know to be false. The closest you have come to the truth is saying he is a magician, because black magic can sperate a man from his Father, his mother his brother and his tribe.".

The people departed and sat down on the paths to warn those who were arriving. Allah paak reveled, regarding al,- Walid.

   

     " Leave me to him whom I creates alone. And gave him vast wealth. And children as witnesses. And smoothed things for him. Then He wants me to add yet more! By ni means! He was stubborn towards our revelations. I will exhaust him increasingly, he though and analyzed. May be perish how hw analyzed. Then he looked, then he frowned and whined. Then he turned back and was proud. And said, " this Quran Kareem is nothing but magic from the ancients".

3. Reports of unseen events in the Quran Kareem:

Reports of things that we're unseen and accurate predictions of events that had not yet occured are the third featured of the Quran's Kareem miraculous nature m the examples of this are many:

 After the treaty of Hudaibiyah:

 " And willing you will surely enter the sacred mosque, in security".

Regarding the Romans:

     " Yet following their defeat, they will triumph."

For the believers: 

  " Allah has promised those of you who believe and do good that he will certainly make them successors in the land, as he did with those before them; and he will surely establish for them their faith which he has chosen for them; and will indeed change their fear into security - provided that they worship, me associating nothing with me.  But whoever disbelieves after this promise, if is they who will be the rebellious.".

4. Stories of the previous nations in the Quran Kareem:

In the Qur’an al-Karīm, Allah (ﷻ) tells us many stories of the previous nations (الأمم السابقة) — the peoples who lived before the Prophet Muḥammad ﷺ. These stories are full of lessons (ʿibrah) about faith, patience, obedience, arrogance, and the consequences of rejecting divine guidance.

1. The People of Prophet Nūḥ (Noah) عليه السلام

References: Surah Nūḥ (71), Surah Hūd (11:25–49), Surah al-Qamar (54:9–15)

Story:

Prophet Nūḥ called his people to worship Allah alone for 950 years, but they rejected him and mocked him. Allah commanded him to build the Ark. When the flood came, only the believers were saved; the disbelievers, including Nūḥ’s own son, drowned.

Lesson:

Steadfastness in da‘wah, obedience to Allah, and that lineage does not save one from disbelief.

 2. The People of ʿĀd and Prophet Hūd عليه السلام

References: Surah al-Aʿrāf (7:65–72), Surah Hūd (11:50–60), Surah al-Aḥqāf (46:21–26)

Story:

ʿĀd were a strong nation living in al-Aḥqāf (southern Arabia). They were arrogant and disbelieved in Hūd. Allah destroyed them with a fierce, cold wind that lasted seven nights and eight days.

Lesson:

Pride and denial of the truth lead to destruction; worldly power cannot protect from Allah’s punishment.

 3. The People of Thamūd and Prophet Ṣāliḥ عليه السلام

References: Surah al-Aʿrāf (7:73–79), Surah Hūd (11:61–68), Surah ash-Shams (91:11–15)

Story:

Thamūd carved homes in the mountains and demanded a miracle. Allah sent them a she-camel as a sign. When they killed it, Allah punished them with a mighty blast.

Lesson:

Disrespecting Allah’s signs leads to ruin; faith must be followed by obedience.

4. The People of Prophet Ibrāhīm (Abraham) عليه السلام

References: Surah al-Anbiyā’ (21:51–70), Surah aṣ-Ṣāffāt (37:83–113)

Story:

Ibrāhīm called his people to abandon idol worship. He debated his people and the tyrant Nimrod, and he was thrown into a fire, which Allah made cool and safe for him.

Lesson:

True tawḥīd (monotheism) requires courage and conviction; Allah protects His true servants.

5. The People of Prophet Lūṭ (Lot) عليه السلام

References: Surah al-Aʿrāf (7:80–84), Surah Hūd (11:77–83), Surah al-Qamar (54:33–39)

Story:

The people of Lūṭ committed shameful acts and refused to repent. Allah destroyed them with stones from the sky and turned their cities upside down.

Lesson:

Sexual immorality and rebellion against Allah’s natural order bring divine wrath.

6. The People of Egypt and Prophet Mūsā (Moses) عليه السلام

References: Surah al-Aʿrāf (7:103–137), Surah Ṭā-Hā (20:9–98), Surah al-Qaṣaṣ (28)

Story:

Mūsā was sent to Pharaoh (Firʿawn) and his people to call them to Allah. Despite witnessing miracles, Pharaoh remained arrogant and claimed divinity. Allah drowned him and his army, saving Banī Isrā’īl.

Lesson:

Arrogance, oppression, and disbelief lead to downfall; patience and faith bring deliverance.

 7. The People of Prophet Shuʿayb عليه السلام (Madyan)

References: Surah al-Aʿrāf (7:85–93), Surah Hūd (11:84–95)

Story:

The people of Madyan cheated in trade and commerce. Shuʿayb warned them, but they mocked him. Allah destroyed them with an earthquake.

Lesson:

Economic injustice and dishonesty are serious sins; fairness and integrity are part of faith.

8. The People of the Elephant (Aṣḥāb al-Fīl)

References: Surah al-Fīl (105)

Story:

Abraha came with an army and elephants to destroy the Ka‘bah. Allah sent flocks of birds (abābīl) that pelted them with stones, destroying them.

Lesson:

Allah protects His sacred house and shows His power over tyrants.

 9. The People of the Garden (Aṣḥāb al-Jannah)

References: Surah al-Qalam (68:17–33)

Story:

A group of men inherited a garden and planned to harvest it without giving charity to the poor. Allah destroyed their garden overnight.

Lesson:

Greed and neglecting the poor bring loss; generosity brings blessings.

Challenges in the Quran Kareem to the people of the book, and their ability to respond:

These hour features of the Quran's miraculous nature are crystal clear; there ja no contention or doubt about them.

Abu ishaq al- Zajjaj said: " This verse ja the strongest proof and the clearest evidence of the authenticity of the message , because whilst Allah SWT exalted said then wish for the death , he informed the Jews that they never would and subsequently not one of them did."

The Prophet Muhammad SAW said:

" I swear by the one in whose hand in my soul, no man from them could say that without on his spit." 

i.e dying there and then. Allah paak turns the Jews away from wishing for death and made them fear in order to affirm the truth of his Messenger and the accuracy of hua revelation. If the Jews had any power to with for death just to prove the Prophet Muhammad SAW wrong, they would have made  sure to do so, rather it is Allah SWT who doe whatever he wishes.

Abu Muhammad Ali Wali said: the strangest thing is that from the day Allah SWT exalted ordered his Prophet Muhammad SAW to say this, not a single individual or group from amongst the Jews ever confronted him or answered back to him again ".

The verse remained as an evidence against anyone from against them who felt that they could test the prophet Muhammad SAW.

It was the same with the verse of the mutual curse. When the Bishops of Najran came to the Prophet Muhammad SAW Allah SWT Exalted revealed.

    " Now whoever disputes with you o Prophet Muhammad SAW concerning Jesus after full knowledge has come to you, say come! Let us gather our children and your children, our women and your women, ourselves and yourselves - then let us sincerely invoke Allah's curse upon the liars."

The feeling of fear upon hearing the Quran Kareem:

Also from the Miraculous nature of  the Quran Kareem ja the fear that clings to the hearts and tremors in the ears of those who listen to it, ana the awe which seizes them due to its high status and the power of it's recitation. The effect of the Quran Kareem is even greater on those who reject it, until they become overwhelmed by what they are hearing. If increases their feelings of alienation and aversion, just as Allah paak says in the Quran Kareem, and the hatred in their hearts makes them wish that the sound would stop

That us why the Prophet Muhammad SAW said: 

" Undoubtedly the Quran Kareem us hard on the one who dislikes it, and it is the adjudicator".

The believers also feel a sense of fear and awe when they hear the Quran Kareem, but they lean towards it and have their chests expanded. Their mood is brightened by their hearts, inclination towards it's recitation, and their firm belief in what it contains. As Allah paak mentions:

   " It is Allah SWT who has sent down the beat Message - a book of perfect consistency and repeated lessons - which causes the skin and hearts of those who fear their lord to tremble , then their skin and hearts soften at the mention of the mercy of Allah".

Allah also confirms:

 " Had we sent this Quran Kareem upon a mountain , you would have certainly seen it humbled and torn apart in awe of Allah SWT. We set forth such comparison for people so perhaps they may reflect."

Other miscellaneous features of the Quran Kareem:

The Qur’an Kareem (Holy Qur’an) has many unique and profound features beyond its linguistic, spiritual, and legal dimensions. Here are some miscellaneous features that highlight its richness and depth:

The Qur’an has remained unchanged since it was revealed over 1,400 years ago.

It is preserved both orally and in written form, with millions of people memorizing it (known as huffaz).

Every copy worldwide has the same text and structure, regardless of region or time period.

 2. Unique Literary Style

The Qur’an’s language is neither poetry nor prose, but a unique style known as Qur’anic Arabic.

Its rhythm, structure, and eloquence are unmatched and have deeply influenced Arabic literature.

It uses rhetorical devices, repetition, and symmetry to emphasize meanings and aid memorization.

 3. Scientific and Natural References

The Qur’an contains references to natural phenomena—such as embryology, astronomy, geology, and the water cycle—that align with modern scientific understanding.

These are not scientific textbooks but signs (āyāt) inviting reflection on creation.

 4. Universal Message

Its teachings address all humanity, not just a specific nation or time.

It emphasizes justice, mercy, equality, and moral conduct, forming the basis for personal and social ethics.

 5. Structure and Organization

The Qur’an has 114 surahs (chapters) and over 6,000 āyāt (verses).

It is not arranged chronologically but by divine wisdom—longer surahs generally first, shorter ones later.

Each surah has a distinct theme, often connected by subtle transitions.

6. Spiritual and Healing Aspects

Recitation brings spiritual tranquility (sukūn) and is considered a form of worship (‘ibādah).

Certain verses are known for protection and healing, such as Ayat al-Kursi (2:255) and Surah Al-Falaq and An-Naas.

 7. Self-Referential and Interconnected

The Qur’an often refers to itself (e.g., as Al-Furqan, Al-Dhikr, Al-Huda).

Verses and surahs are interconnected, with themes recurring in different contexts for reinforcement.

Despite this challenge, no one has successfully matched its depth, style, and impact.

Conclusion:

Its divine eloquence transcends human ability, challenging all generations to produce even a single verse like it, yet none have succeeded. The Qur’an not only guides the soul and refines character but also enlightens the mind, addressing moral, spiritual, and intellectual dimensions of human life.Revealed over fourteen centuries ago, it remains unchanged, relevant, and living, speaking to the hearts of people across languages, cultures, and eras. Its verses contain profound wisdom, prophecies, and insights into the natural world that continue to inspire reflection and discovery.Truly, the Qur’an is a miracle beyond time, a divine book whose light can never be dimmed and whose message continues to guide humanity toward truth, justice, and peace. It is not merely a scripture to be read—it is a living miracle to be experienced, understood, and lived by.
